The new Defence Adviser of the United Kingdom to Nigeria, Mr. Paul Warwick, gave the assurance when he led a delegation of the British High Commission to the Nigerian Army Headquarters on a courtesy call to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai, on Thursday.
The British Adviser noted that the Nigeria-British relationship was mutually beneficial and the two countries had a rich history of economic ties.
The army chief, Buratai, noted in his response that the military assistance and other necessary aids provided by the British government would continue to nurture the two countries’ mutual relationship. This is just as the Nigerian Army said its troops arrested one of the wanted Boko Haram commanders, Abdullahi Modu, who specialises in driving vehicles mounted with anti-aircraft guns.
The army said the commander was arrested alongside nine other members in Pulka, Borno State, during a clearance operation on Wednesday.
BokoHaramWatch Wayo people...so to butter up the Buhari administration they got “Dodgy Dave” Cameron to bad mouth Jonathan...FG better keep both eyes open the British are never straightforward
Story story
We shall then be cautious so that they will not in the future claim that Nigeria rejected their offer.
Hahhahhaahhahhahhaha.....God save us....
You should be ashamed
Pls God no ... dont let them get involved
we dont want please let us handle it
Even buhari pledged to bring back chibok girls. we're tired of pledges
Hope not with money, dem go chop the money BorisJohnson
Wait! Is this what David_Cameron's recent comment was all about with regards to GEJonathan rejecting his offer to rescue the ChibokGirls? So many things are ongoing in my mind but I have long lost faith and hope in Nigeria. I can't lose sleep over it. It is Biafra on my mind.
No be new thing.
