The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has said Biafra is optional for non-Igbo ethnic nationalities in the old Eastern region.Emma Powerful, spokesman of IPOB, however, said they must conduct a referendum.In a statement he signed, Powerful said: “Any tribe or ethnicity who doesn’t want to be part of Biafra will never be forced to do so. Such tribes are free to go on their own but you must conduct referendum for your people to decide their fate on the agitation for Biafra.
“We can attest that Igbo people never fought against any tribe in olden days because Igbo believe in . Kanu is facing charges bordering on terrorism and treason before Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court.Similarly, Kanu had floored the Nigerian Government at the Abia State High Court.
Most of times they're listening to the lies of nigeria that igbos is going to take advantage of them. Abegi Biafra is going to be by choice not by force.
Of course, real_IpobDOS ,MaziNnamdiKanu, the Biafran leader, and the generality of Biafrans have been stating emphatically and unequivocally, that nobody will be forced to belong to Biafra. But the little UN can do is just to conduct a UN-SUPERVISED REFERENDUM. Let ppl decide.

Referendum need to be done in the entire old eastern Nigeria for every indigenous peoples to decide where they want to belong to. Ipob is not forcing anyone but we have our Igbo speaking Biafrans who were falsely carved out to join those non Igbo Biafrans by the Nigerian state.
