It actually took me a long time to become popular. I started my acting career in 2001 but I’m grateful to God for the journey so far.Stardom hasn’t changed anything about me; the only thing I can call a slight change is that I have learnt new ways to relate well with people even without knowing them.Stardom has deprived me of my privacy. I missed going to the market and doing many things that stardom wouldn’t let me do.
It really tasked my imagination and took a lot of efforts to give the perfect delivery I wanted. Another role that I have found challenging is the one I played in ‘Orere’ my movie that will soon be out.I am still friends with some of the people I was friends with before I hit stardom. A Yoruba adage says, “20 children cannot play for 20 years.” I fell out with some and I still keep in touch with some. But it doesn’t have anything to do with stardom.
