In the first two weeks of this month, Niger State communities were attacked by bandits at least 50 times, with over 300 persons killed and 200 kidnapped, including security personnel.

The governor, who enumerated the series of attacks and their consequences on lives, blamed the low response time to the attacks on the lack of access roads to the affected communities. Bello stated, “This afternoon, I came to visit Mr President to give him an update on the security situation in Niger State concerning banditry activities, kidnapping and cattle rustling, among others. We were able to review some of the invasions in the state. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you all.

January is just 19 days old

All those kidnaps some r brotherly affairs as previously observed by Gov. Bello, Bandits r not all criminals. An attack on BHT is an attack on d North. Niger State has not been shown enough love compared to Zamfara where in 1 night “just 58 japa to Janna” claimed Dr Matt not 200

Very soon you guys will be governors of cattles

those who killed by sword shall die by sword

Bubu can you see that.

Na wa ooh where you dey as a governor when bandits killed the number of people like this you and your family no dey among, God dey

This barbarism of the highest order, it is unfortunate and totally condemnable. How can a people just choose to annihilate self for no reason?

This is not worrisome to MBuhari government but what happened in UAE is his concern

Is this part of Nigeria

The Niger State Governor that resides and dwell in Abuja is saying something about the state he governs from a distance
