Bandits have levied operators at a gold processing site in the Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State, N10,000 for uninterrupted running of the site.Residents disclosed that no fewer than 70 small-scale gold processing centres were operating at the site, which was opened about two weeks ago.

It was learnt that the bandits imposed the levy on the operators after invading the site on Thursday night and killing two of the operators.Five other operators were also said to have been injured in the attack, while the gunmen allegedly abducted 11 workers from the site.He revealed that the bandits later released one of the abducted operators, who they directed to deliver a letter conveying the imposition of the levy.

Northern Nigeria is using insecurity to mine their Gold so that others states won't benefit, if this same happens to oil in the NIGER-DELTA, you will see military power but they can't use the same military power in their region

Una never start

Am sorry... Is that not the President's state? You are expecting a President that can not secure his OWN state to secure you. You better stop dreaming... Wake up... And turn to God for safety.

The owners of they land have spoken

Now I see why bandits won't let them be, so they have been secretly mining gold in Katsina. This Nigeria is not one at.

So Katsina has gold too, I said it. This boko haram stuff is not just about religion, but to deceive people, Sambisa forest is more than a gold mine, there must be some serious activities going on there that we can't see.
