President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned latest rounds of attacks and killings between bandits and residents in Damkal and Tsanwa villages in Batsari local government area of Katsina state.
In a statement on Sunday, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said President Buhari stated that killing people in the name of revenge is not acceptable. He warned that no one has the right to take laws into their hands and if local communities catch bandits, they should be handed over to law enforcement authorities.
President Buhari urged community leaders and the local authorities to continue their efforts in partnership with law enforcement agencies that bring the surrender of bandits, leading to peace between farmers and herders.
All talk and no action. What's the follow up to all this senseless killings around.. Does this spell incompetence...?
Na only condemn this 1 dey condemn
Nigerians are tired of hearing this. Stop “condemning” Mr. President. DO SOMETHING! BE PROACTIVE!! The blood of the innocent is crying out.. the land is no longer green but RED!!!
Condemnation is not enough, and it has been the mantra of Muhammadu Buhari ever since herders and bandits have been terrorizing Nigeria citizens. No meaningful actions have been taken to checkmate these acts of terrorism. The security architecture of the country is so ineffective
Keep condeming, don't act! And come to think of it, that happened right in the state where you from. I just hope we are all safe.😞
After condemning, what next?
Killings here and there.
This man has too much of burdens he should just retire
For how long will he continue to condemn, why not fish them out,let them face the wrath of the law and then end all this evil killings. Nigerians are tired.
Somebody that can not take care of his home, is it Nigeria or Nigerians that he will protect?
I think everyone is nw tired of dis man n all is nw regretting ever getting him into power -what an irony
Like he cares...
