Atiku congratulates Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, lists expectations

Leaders from around the world have congratulated newly sworn-in US President, Joe Biden, and Vice President, Kamala Harris, expressing cautious optimism over future relations after four years of tumult under Donald Trump.

Also, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who butted heads with Trump over trade, said that “Canada and the United States enjoy one of the most unique relationships in the world.” Also, Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was blunt in telling Scotland’s Parliament Trump wouldn’t be missed. On her part, Finnish Prime Minister, Sanna Marin gave special mention to Harris, saying “my warmest congratulations! I look forward working with you and the new administration.”Meanwhile, Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Facebook that she hoped Biden would become a unifying force “after the unrest and division” seen in American society.

Japanese Prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga, also congratulated Biden and Harris and said he looked forward to “working with you and your team to strengthen our alliance and realise a free and open Indo-Pacific.”

Atiku sends message to Biden on Nigeria’s travel restrictionWe are a quality, national, newspaper with credible and dependable information. I know all this congratulatory messages is because travel ban has been lifted, I don't know why our leaders will sit up to work on this own short comings and stop relying completely on the international community. God help Nigeria 🙏 On which capacity... I don't support lifting of bans on corrupt politicians if lifted it will encourage others to do the worst
