The All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State to stop inciting the people against President Bola Tinubu's administration. APC accused Obaseki of blaming the new government for the deplorable condition of Edo's roads.

Obaseki also said the proposed palliatives by the President Bola Tinubu-led administration “is a continuation of fraud the Federal government has always undertaken against the people of Nigeria”. APC claimed that Obaseki, who succeeded Adams Oshiomhole as governor, had nothing to show in terms of achievement in the over seven years he had in office instead of “flaunting the landmark developmental strides of his predecessor.”

The ruling party, however, challenged Governor Obaseki “to show the world what impact he has been able to make rather than the usual promises of Memorandum of Understanding, which his government has been notorious for signing with fictitious entities with nothing to show for it.”
