A member of the All Progressives Congress is currently down with paralysis after he was allegedly beaten by the Chairman of Idah local government area of Kogi State, Alhaji Abu Odoma.According to sources, Odoma threatened his rival's supporters during the last APC Congress, and at the time physically assaulted the dying man, alongside some others.
The council boss was installed as a caretaker chairman for Idah; however when time came for election, he allegedly resorted to arms. A source said, “Security agencies in the local government area where the chairman holds sway, and the state government have not taken any action against the unfortunate development.
