Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra , Nnamdi Kanu, has pleaded not guilty to the 15 charges bordering on treasonable felony and terrorism, preferred against him by the Federal Government.
Meanwhile, immediately the embattled IPOB leader finished taking his plea, the prosecution counsel, Labaran Magaji, told the court that he was ready to proceed with the trial, adding that he brought two witnesses to testify against the defendant. But when the matter was called up, the prosecution counsel, Mr. Shuaibu Labaran, told the court that he was the one who chose to wear his designer clothes.In response, Kanu’s lead counsel, Mike Ozekhome, told the court that it was not true that his client insisted on wearing his designer clothes as it was not his visiting day on Tuesday so, fresh clothes couldn’t be passed to him.Ozekhome, however, commended the DSS for providing the IPOB leader with new mattresses and pillows.
All strategy by the government of day is to keep Nnamdi kanu till the end of this government next year..so let's wait and see what happen about his release next year..just watch and the lawyer shouldn't relent in his efforts to bail him.
