Dutch league champions, Ajax, have finalised the signing of 18-year-old striker, Gibson Yah, making him the latest African to join the Amsterdam giants.

Gibson Yah, who has Nigerian roots as his father and mother hail from Edo State, said he was excited to sign his first professional contract with Ajax, in what he described as “the most beautiful club in Holland”, a deal that would tie him with the champions of Netherlands till June 2022 with the option for an additional year.

Though Gibson Yah, who is currently recovering from injury is expected to make his debut latest in January as the Eredivisie side desperately want to bolster the squad despite having a very tight budget.
