The incident happened around 6pm. This is coming six days after an army captain, GSM Abubakar, was killed on the same road while his mother and wife were kidnapped.

The officer, a male and female, were traveling in a Toyota Sienna when they were stopped by the gunmen who opened fire, killing them on the spot.

The state Commissioner of Police, Ayuba Ede, who confirmed the incident, said, “I have dispatched my men there to bring me the details of how it happened.”All rights reserved.
