D’Tigers coach, Mike Brown, believes Nigeria will be better offensively and defensively when they face Kenya and Ivory Coast in their next fixtures at the ongoing 2021 Afrobasket at the Kigali Arena in Rwanda.

The Nigerians were made to pay for their sloppiness in the second and fourth quarter with the Malians winning 31-16 and 20-10 but it was not enough for them to take the win. Benjamin Emelogu was D’Tigers best player on the court with a +26 efficiency. He scored 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals.
