Ghanaian legend, Asamoah Gyan, has reacted to the Black Stars’ elimination from the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Cameroon.
Recall that Ghana was eliminated from the 2021 AFCON in the group stages on Tuesday night after a shock 3-2 defeat to debutants, Comoros.But they conceded an early goal and with Ayew receiving a red card in the 25th minute, the Black Stars ended up losing after full time.Gyan told SuperSport: “Andrew Ayew is the only one who has got the killer instinct in the team.”
“They tried to give everything which was good, but it was not enough. As we all said earlier, we didn’t have a sense of urgency throughout this tournament.
