The Premiere Academy in Abuja has honoured one of its final year students, Mulan Andrew, for her outstanding performance in the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination.

A statement by the Head of the Academy, Mr. Chris Akinsowon, on Thursday, explained that Andrew’s performance was unprecedented since the establishment of the school, 15 years ago.

He said Andrew in her own case, obtained A1 grade in all the nine subjects she offered, while other members of the top 10 got between eight and six A1 with only B2 and B3 to complement. He said a brief ceremony was held in her honour at the school’s premises on Wednesday, where encomiums were poured on the young girl, who hails from Plateau State.

Akinsowon said the teenager was presented with a Laptop computer and cash gift on behalf of the Academy to appreciate her performance, which he described as praiseworthy.
