The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; his counterparts in Lagos and Osun states, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Adegboyega Oyetola, and the President of the African Development Bank, Dr Akinwunmi Adesina, on Saturday paid their last respects as the remains of Senator Olabiyi Durojaiye were laid to rest.
Speaking at the event, Abiodun described the deceased as an epitome of consistency and an honest man who was another father to him. He said, “Baba Durojaiye was another father to me and this is not a cliché. It is a fact. He was the epitome of consistency, he was an honest man, he loved his family and children. Baba supported me all through my political sojourn.”
