This was contained in a press release signed by the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Dr. Anthony Agbazuere and made available to DAILY POST in Umuahia, the state capital on Saturday.
According to the release, “Consequently, the name of Prof Mkpa Agu Mkpa has been forwarded to the Abia State House of Assembly for confirmation as required by extant laws”. Mkpa before his appointment was a former Vice-Chancellor of the Abia State University, ABSU, Uturu and ex-Secretary to State Government .
