My marriage…with IGOSAVE

igosave-n-wife

What attracted you to your wife?

Her calmness and humility.

How did you meet her?

We first met at my show after-party at a club in Austria. After many years, we met again at a mechanic workshop in Benin City, Edo State, and the rest, as they say, is history.

How long did you know her before you proposed?

A few years.

How has the marital journey been?

It’s been wonderful and blessed; not as difficult as I expected but we are in a daily learning process as marriage is a citadel for learning.

How would you describe your wife in three words?

Prayerful, strong and loving.

What event made your wedding memorable to you?

Every part of my wedding has its own memory for me; from people who came from all over the world to seeing my wife smile all through, etc.

How have you been able to balance your career and the home front?

Career wise, I am IGOSAVE; at home, I am Otas. I have learnt not to be a public figure in my house and it has brought us peace and happiness.

What is your advice to young people about marriage?

They should marry if they can afford it and shouldn’t let anybody pressure them into marriage.
