But on ethnicity & religion. Your mumu don do ! Hmmm What bases will the North use in her voting? Conduct election today, the north will still vote incompetent over competent again and again, forget what that Mauritanian sycophant is saying on National TV. Even himself will still vote for incompetent because of tribe and sentiments.

You are right You thought you were doing Jonathan! Even this statement is heavily laced with sentiment. Has there ever been a time when the north- or any section of the country for that matter- has not voted based on one sentiment or the other? Your antecedents continue to betray you, even with your rhetorics

We need amended constitution, not voting someone into power, our constitution is very wrong, not favorable. If not by sentiment are they going to vote by merit? I know you people will not respect yourself I pray it will be so!

2023: Trouble for Atiku, Tambuwal, Kwankwaso as Afenifere, Ohanaeze reject northern candidatesThere may be looming trouble for prominent politicians from the northern part of Nigeria who have shown interest to run for president in 2023 as the Southern and Middle Belt Forum have demanded that all political parties zone their presidential ticket to the South. Make all of them get out Bunch of fools We’ve been enslaved by the ruling of the north for so long already. Despite Having the highest number of head of states/President, the north still remain the poorest and uncivilized part of the country. Are you guys born to rule, does that country belong to you guys alone. Your region has ruled that country more than any other region, yet, we have uneducated, poorest people in your region.

Sentiment is working for the north NEF/NLT=PDP These guys talk too much Always sounding like the north is solely saddled with the responsibility of deciding who becomes the president of Nigeria... Na una put am for northern elders, shey? Who cares ? Did you ever talk truth ? This type persons stoking the embers of sectionalism are the reason the geographical expression called Nigeria is breaking up even if it's little at a time. With this kind of leadership for the north borrowed from Mauritania. KeepItOn

Lies! I have analyzed the voting pattern of the core North (NE & NW) in presidential elections since 1999. Except in '99 when there was no GMB on the ballot, they have always voted massively for their demigod (GMB) including 2011. Real question is: who will their new demigod be? This man wants sth in the next government 😂

NEF is just waking up. Wonders will never end

Good We pray so A very big Bush meat ,claiming that they are good northerners, nonsense 😡 This man doesn't determine how the north vote, he ask them to vote Atiku in 2015 & 2019, he should stop claiming authority over the north, they don't listen to him. Thank God you acknowledged that Buharis election was based on sentiments by North. That's saying that the north brought us as a country to the point we are. A fundamental question we therefore need to ask is ''Is the north politically matured to stop?

Another strategy to deceive Nigeria citizens This is a welcomed development. Not only for North but should be done by other regions as well. Who cares? Story na today 😏 Failed elders, Atiku boys talking.

READ ALSO: Despite Shrinking Resources, We Must Do The Best For Our People – Buhari He, however, lamented that the North and the entire country are worse than where they were before President Buhari assumed office, as kidnapping, banditry, and high rate of poverty have become the order of the day. While stating that the north will no longer be taken for a ride, Baba-Ahmed said both the South and North have equal rights to seek for the exalted office of the President in 2023. He equally stressed that the North will support only a competent Presidential candidate who understands the roots and solutions to the numerous challenges confronting the country, and not a person who wants power just to fulfil a personal ambition. The Northern Elders also called on the Federal Government to postpone the planned 2022 national population census in view that the large numbers of displaced persons across the country and the likelihood of the tension and controversy the exercise could generate before the 2023 General election. The forum advocated key reforms in the constitution and the electoral process that should be implemented to improve the quality of elections, and further urged President Muhammadu Buhari to assent to the proposed amendments to the Electoral Act, as this will improve the quality of elections, starting from 2023.
