Civil Society Groups in Nigeria, under the Partnership for Advocacy in Child and Family Health At Scale (PACFaH@Scale), commend the federal government for the over N1trn allocated to the health sector in the proposed 2023 budget and requested that the amount be maintained by the National Assembly during their appropriation debates.

‘’ We commend the federal government for appropriating the highest percentage to the health sector in the 2023 budget since 2015 and for reintroducing a dedicated line and code to support the maternal health of Nigerian women scale-up of implementation of the national family planning program, services, and procurement of family planning commodities through counterpart -funding for 2023” he said
