A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kassim Afegbua, has said that Nigerians are tired of seeing the same set of people contesting for president and that his party ought to change its strategy ahead of the coming 2023 elections.

Afegbua who was a guest on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Tuesday, said this while discussing the party’s potential candidates, particularly former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who was the candidate for the PDP in 2019.NASS Passes Harmonised Electoral Bill With Direct, Indirect, Consensus Modes Of Primaries

“I was specific about the aspiration of a man who represented the party in 2019 elections. I said we are tired of seeing old faces.

Old men in Nigeria politics and Africa at large is becoming worrisome, because this are men who suppose to go and manage their health.

Leadership is not a gift that anyone should look forward to getting. It is vied for. Begin today by joining a political party. Take a stand in the party. Otherwise, we will continue to see the same faces.
