Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has warned Nigerians against electing people who are above 70 years of age as president in 2023.
Our correspondent recalls that former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu; and former Vice President of Nigeria, Abubakar Atiku, have indicated interest to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023. Atiku on the other hand had said that he would contest on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party .He advised them to elect people that have the energy to serve the country.
I believed if janjaweed servant VP Osibanjo is not a Yoruba man nor have any atom of regards by Nigerian govt of APC, i don't see any reason APC the ruling party will sidelined him to carry on their flags like VP Atiku. Why was VP sidelined like a puppet gone astray? Nigerians

I say above 60. If someone is 68 when elected for instance, even by the time he completes first term, he is well over 70. That way we bring some vibrancy and innovativeness into governance.

There are almost 36 Governors in Nigeria that could be referred to as youths but most of them are total failures. Any politician that is physically and mentally sound and above 70 years of age, is qualified to govern Nigeria. Age is just a number.
