The O.B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation said it had provided high quality health services, including surgeries, to 132,591 people in the rural and semi-urban areas of the Niger Delta region since 2005.

Apart from the free medical mission, she said the foundation had provided potable water for 33 communities in Niger Delta, while toilets and sanitary facilities were built and donated in the region to enhance public health and wellbeing. “Inmates of the correctional facilities in Port Harcourt are among beneficiaries of the foundation’s Free Medical Missions, which aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 that aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all age.

“We have also provided funding to 30 teachers and trainers and built an Information Technology Centre for learning,” she said.
