JUST IN: Bauchi gov. offers N2 million reward for information on kidnapped brother

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has offered N2 million as compensation for information that will lead to safe return of abducted brother.

The Nation reports that unknown gunmen whisked away the governor’s elder brother, Adamu Mohammed.

He was said to have been kidnapped about 7pm at Kobi Street in Bauchi metropolis on Wednesday 25th of March.

The reward on information leading to his safe return was disclosed in a press statement made available to newsmen in Bauchi, the state capital on Sunday by the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Media, Mukhtar Gidado.

The statement reads, “The family wishes to offer the sum of Two Million Naira (N 2 Million Naira) to whoever is willing to provide information leading to his safe return.”
