The Yellowstone characters are either Team Beth or Team Jamie heading into season 5, part 2. The war between the siblings will define the final installment of Taylor Sheridan's neo-Western epic about the Dutton family, especially now that Kevin Costner will officially not return as John Dutton. It's unclear how Yellowstone season 5, part 2 will handle Costner’s departure, especially with John serving as the current Governor of Montana.

In part 1, Jamie was targeted by Market Equities after they saw him looking somber at his father's victory rally for the governor's race. Jamie, the attorney general for the state of Montana, wanted the governor's office when it was up for grabs, but John didn't trust him in the office .
