Warm and wet Wednesday for some, Looking ahead to the Weekend
Partly cloudy and warm now with scattered showers developing near the Big Bend and along I-95 in southeast Georgia.
The storm activity today will develop closer to the River and I-95 and then drift slowly inland. Rainfall rates are expected to be generally light aside from the isolated storm and downpours. Thursday and Friday will be a little cooler and drier. Things start drying out again Thursday. Mostly clear skies early then becoming partly cloudy. An isolated shower will be possible along the weak sea breeze, 10 percent from the beaches to the River, 20 percent from Highway 301 to I-75. Morning lows in the mid to upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80s inland, upper 70s to low 80s along the beaches. Wind S/SE 5-10 mph. Mostly clear overnight with patchy fog.
The dry pattern continues Friday with showers developing this weekend. Scattered showers with storms will develop on Saturday and Sunday, mainly after 2 p.m. through around 8 p.m. for northeast Florida and southeast Georgia.Copyright 2024 by WJXT News4JAX - All rights reserved.
