Coast Guard searching for three swimmers in the Gulf behind Schooners in Panama City Beach

A recent update on the conditions of the three swimmers from the swimmers in distress call from earlier this evening. According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, all three have passed away.

The three young men arrived in Panama City Beach this afternoon and soon after went swimming. They are all from Alabama.Update at 10:30 from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office: *UPDATE--THIRD SWIMMER FOUND** U.S. Coast Guard Station Panama City is responding to a report of 3 people in the water who were last seen between the first and second sand bar near Schooners restaurant. Bay County Sheriff’s Officials, FWV, and Bay County Fire are on the scene assisting in the search.Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford announced that at 8:11 this evening the Bay County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting three distressed swimmers in the Gulf behind Watercress Condominiums at 6201 Thomas Drive.
