Rutgers coach Greg Schiano on Wednesday addressed allegations of his program sending a Big Ten team Michigan's defensive signals prior to last season's Big Ten Championship game.

It is unclear whether the sharing of signal information between league teams violates the Big Ten’s sportsmanship policy or any NCAA rules, per ESPN. The Big Ten recently sent Michigan a notice of disciplinary action, required by the sportsmanship policy “in the event it becomes clear that an institution is likely to be subjected to disciplinary action,” per ESPN, citing a Michigan official. Michigan has until Wednesday to respond, at which time discipline could be imposed, with a suspension for Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is believed to be the likeliest potential discipline, per ESPN.
