Susquehanna Twp. football is more than just the Lex Cyrus show
Susquehanna Township’s Lex Cyrus and Torin Evans celebrate Evans' touchdown against East Pennsboro in their high school football game. October 04, 2024. Sean Simmers | [email protected] Township’s Lex Cyrus is one of the best wide receivers in the state. Defense’s tend to roll coverages his way and he earns the attention of each team’s best defensive back.
Yet when looking at the box score, names like Jarrett Kern and Rakhi Seville consistently pop up with good, even great, performances. For example, running back Rahki Seville starred in Hanna’s 35-28 victory over East Pennsboro last Friday. Seville finished with 128 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. His aggressive running style was key in Hanna’s victory.
“In high school football, it’s big,” Headen said. “You got four or five guys you can count on to produce, it’s beneficial to us.”
