That’s the part that has local gardeners excited, and busy planning the tours that draw plant lovers throughout the spring.

Info: pointlomagardenwalk.com The Julian Woman’s Club will present its Wildflower Show, held annually for more than 90 years, at the group’s clubhouse, 2607 C St. in Julian. Club members collect specimens from the 855 plant species in the area surrounding Julian. The plant display ranges from desert cactuses to high mountain dogwood.
