The request further states that the effort aligns with the National Military Strategy , emphasizing technical modernization within the joint force.The Space Force’s official budget request for Fiscal Year 2025 stands at $29.4 billion, which is a slight decrease from the previous year’s request of $30 billion, as noted by Department of the Air Force chief Frank Kendall.

The US Space Command has echoed Space Force’s concerns, presenting a wish list totaling an additional $1.2 billion in unfunded needs.
