Highland High School evacuated its students and had an early dismissal Monday as a precaution.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Medina County sheriff’s deputies say several schools in the area received bomb threats Monday morning.
Phone calls went to the main offices that reported a bomb. The sheriff’s office said area businesses have also received bomb threats. “This morning, the Highland Local School District enacted our emergency plan to address a bomb threat that was made at Highland High School,” a letter sent to families said.
The sheriff’s office, including four teams of K-9s, and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives swept the school.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
