Seattle Veterinary Outreach, a veterinary care nonprofit, said its ambulance was recovered after it was stolen from storage Thursday morning.
by KOMO News StaffSeattle Veterinary Outreach, a veterinary care nonprofit, said its ambulance was stolen from storage in Edmonds on March 21, 2024. at 8:37 a.m., Seattle Veterinary Outreach said the ambulance was last seen headed south on Edmonds Way at 7 a.m. The nonprofit confirmed to KOMO News Thursday afternoon police recovered the ambulance in Everett.
Although it was recovered, a Seattle Veterinary Outreach spokesperson said the vehicle is now “severely damaged and is not operable.” The nonprofit said police believe the people who stole the ambulance may have been seeking drugs “as the back is damaged and things were thrown about.
