Police detained several people as they were searching for robbery suspects inside a First Hill apartment Thursday morning
At around 5:40 a.m., the Seattle Police Department announced that a group of robbery suspects had barricaded themselves inside a building near the corner of Madison St. and Boylston Ave.This area is near a Whole Foods Market on Broadway.Police urged the public to stay out of the area while they searched for suspects.
FOX 13's Nikki Torres arrived at the scene and saw police take several people out of the apartment building in handcuffs. Officers were seen searching through the suspect's clothes and pockets as if they were looking for something.Some of the people who were handcuffed were released and let back inside the building.At least two of the people who were handcuffed were taken away in a police cruiser.FOX 13 is waiting for more information about the incident from the SPD.
