The Jets are cleaning house and Rob Gronkowski has an intriguing savior.
Gronkowski said on the “Up and Adams Show” that the Jets should turn to Jon Gruden as the answer after firing coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joue Douglas midseason.“That’s how Aaron Rodgers stays with the Jets,” Gronkowski said. “He has to have a general manager and head coach that comes in and wants Aaron Rodgers as well.
“I can confirm that he definitely wants to get back in, 100 percent,” Esiason said. “I can also confirm — and I believe this to be true, this is my opinion after speaking to at least two different that are involved in coaching searches and things of that nature — that there are teams that are interested in him. And if it’s not year, it’s next year. But he’s coming back, he’s definitely coming back.
