We are seeking a highly motivated and creative candidate for a fully supported postdoctoral fellowship to develop immune-based therapies. Specifically, the research is aimed to develop cell-based immunotherapies for pediatric tumors.
Studies are focused on using genetic engineering approaches to not only render immune cells cancer specific, but also improve their effector function. Genetically modified immune cells will be studied in preclinical models with special emphasis on how adoptively transferred cells interact with tumor cells, the tumor microenvironment, and resident immune cells.Successful applicants will have a strong publication record, excellent communication skills, and a Ph.D.
