Photographers can submit up to five photos that represent the essence of Life on Lake Erie.

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Ohio Lake Erie Commission has announced that submissions are now being taken for the 33rd annual Life on Lake Erie Photo Contest.

OLEC says the contest highlights the lake’s environmental significance while also raising awareness to help preserve, protect and promote the preservation of Lake Erie. Each photo should be submitted as a high-resolution digital file along with a completed entry form. “The Life on Lake Erie Photo Contest has become a cherished tradition, celebrating the beauty and legacy of Lake Erie through the lens of our community,” Ohio Lake Erie Commission Executive Director, Joy Mulinex, said. “This photo contest connects us to Lake Erie through photography, perfectly capturing its natural resource significance to Ohio and inspiring a greater commitment to promoting this invaluable resource.

According to OLEC, entries will be judged based on the photos' relevancy to the theme, creativity, visual quality and composition.
