The Ohio Attorney General has filed an emergency motion compelling the Columbus City Schools (CCS) to transport 120 students to charter and private schools. This action comes after parents requested mediation regarding the district's decision not to provide transportation, claiming delays and a lack of communication.

A charter school employee was also cited who said at least one family is still awaiting an official certified letter of impracticality from CCS and that without the letter, the family cannot seekYost's filing said that the family was told there was a backlog and that the district did not have a timeframe for when the parent would receive the certified letter.
