Showers arrive tonight, then cooler air is in store for St. Patrick’s Day.CLEVELAND, Ohio - Clouds and areas of fog from overnight are beginning to clear, setting the stage for a decent amount of sunshine to start the weekend. This is courtesy of a strengthening southwesterly wind, which will also send temperatures back towards the 60-degree mark. However, the warming trend is short-lived. A cold front crosses Saturday evening bringing showers. Then, chillier air sticks around for St.
The fog continues to lift and clouds scatter away as the wind begins picking up towards midday. For the afternoon, expect lots of sunshine until around 5-6 p.m. when a new round of clouds quickly increases from the northwest. High temperatures rise from the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. The wind will be from the southwest between 15 and 20 mph with occasional gusts up to 35 mph.
Saturday night begins drying after midnight with a continued stiff breeze from the west between 15 and 20 mph. Lake-effect snow showers are expected on Monday. High temperatures stay in the 30s with a continued breeze.
