“Ever since then, we keep our front door bolted all the time, even during the day when we’re up,” Jess Ramey, who lives near one of the victims, said. “I’m sure it was a bit shocking to find somebody in your house whether they’ve got a gun on you or not.” “I just felt terrible. I felt really sad for them to have to go through something like that, to be awakened in their own house, and of course, it’s hard not to think, well, what if it had happened to you?” Victoria Stiles, who lives near one of the victims, said.
Police arrested three suspects, linking them to the case through surveillance video and purchases they made with the victim’s credit cards and accounts, racking up hundreds of dollars through Best Buy, DoorDash, and video games.
