Residents in National City are celebrating the reopening of the Las Palmas municipal pool after 18 months of renovations.
The Las Palmas Pool in National City has reopened for the community after 18 months of renovations. For people living in the area, it's a long-awaited moment since it is the only local municipality in National City.
With the pool now open, the community can once again swim laps, exercise, or just swim for fun. Las Palmas even offers Sweetwater High School District the opportunity to practice at the facility. “We keep the pool heated year round, we’re always going to offer recreational swim lessons on the weekends and continue to offer swim lessons throughout the year,” Delaney said.
"Pues en primera porque los niños aprenden a nadar aqui en clases de natacion aqui muy economicas el precio la verdad es muy bueno tambien la entrada esta accesible," Chula Vista Resident Rosa Vasquez said.
