Rochester , N.Y. — Mayor Malik Evans expressed anger Tuesday after police said a city security guard was beaten with a baseball bat Monday night and the primary suspect was released on her own recognizance.
The 22-year-old security guard reported being beaten by multiple people. He was hospitalized for his injuries.According to court documents, the security guard claimed a group of about eight people attacked him.The suspects fled the area in their cars after the alleged attack, according to police.
