A man in his 70s has died after officials said his vehicle collided with a train in Carbon County.
A man in his 70s has died after officials said there was a crash involving his car and a train in Carbon County.
They responded to the crash at Nick Lane and 800 East on Sunday just after 4 p.m. The road was closed at the scene while deputies investigated. Sgt. Shawn Addley with the Carbon County Sheriff's Office said the man was deceased by the time they arrived to the scene.It was not initially clear whether the man's vehicle crashed into the train — which was not a passenger train — or vice versa.
