) - The period of active weather for the Gulf Coast over, and we have a quiet forecast over the next 7 days. .After a couple of overnight storms on Saturday night, things are clearing up nicely on this Sunday morning. Temperatures have started very mild, but will rose into the 80s, with a few 90s possible this afternoon.
Also note that humidity will not be taking a tumble like previous systems we have had. We keep dew points in the 60s, so prepare for that hot feel in the afternoon!The beaches continue to be very busy this weekend, and it is likely that lots of people will be heading down because of the nice Sunday weather. However, dangerous rip currents are possible. This is a potentially dangerous setup for swimmers.
