The brand new Los Angeles Festival of Movies is coming to town this weekend, and aiming to turn three indie venues into a space to party and talk movies.Independent movie theaters have been revamped and reopened in L.A. over the last few years, and audiences have returned with a hunger for film. LAFM is celebrating both independent venues and independent film, bringing highlights from film festivals like Sundance or Rotterdam to premiere in L.A.
