The 'Good Morning San Antonio' weekend anchor's reaction to the news was 'a full-blown ugly cry out of pure joy.'
While reporting the news, KSAT reporter and anchor Sarah Acosta got some news of her own: The baby she's expecting in March – her first – is a girl. Acosta got a call from her doctor's office between live shots for a 9/11 ceremony at a local high school. She started 'sobbing,' and her friend and colleague at KSAT , photojournalist Azian Bermea , captured her reaction, Acosta said in a Q&A with the station.
meteorologist Sarah Spivey looks forward to December due date, speaks out on 'body-shamers' Acosta and her husband already have a name for their bundle of joy: Odette, or 'Dotty' for short, after French nun and martyr Odette Prévost. The couple long ago picked out boy and girl names after Catholic saints, she said. Acosta added she is excited to show love to her baby girl, so she will then share love with others.
