One is that she claimed to have met with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. She didn’t. And the other, is about a supposed testy exchange with former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley that a Haley spokesperson described as a “just plain weird” accusation. Noem has tried to reframe the story from two decades ago as an example of her willingness to make tough decisions. She wrote on social media that Cricket had shown aggressive behavior by biting.
