JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is dead after a house fire on the city's Northside Saturday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.assist the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department with a house fire.JFRD said crews pulled the victim from the house and he was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.Credit: Adrien Clark, First Coast NewsPolice believe the fire could have started in the home's kitchen area, though the official cause remains under investigation.
"The house is pretty destroyed. So, it's gonna take a little while for the investigation to actually figure out the cause of the fire," said JSO Sgt.
