Despite surrendering the first goal for the second game running, the Stars scored four consecutive en route to their victory on Friday night.

Dallas’ fourth line has continued to contribute offensively, as Steel’s goal was its seventh in the last nine games. In addition to Benn’s second-period heroics, the Stars’ defense was key in the win. Dallas allowed just eight shots on goal in the first 30 minutes of ice time.saved 20 of 22 shots, allowing a second goal midway through the third period by Rickard Rakell. He had a key save on a 2-on-1 late in the second period when the Stars led by just two.The Stars closed out the home stand with three wins in five games and have won eight of their last 10.
