by SBG San Antonio Staff ReportsA Bexar County inmate is now facing an additional $50,000 on top of his other charges after breaking an officer's nose.
According to the arrest affidavit, the incident happened on Feb. 29 around 5:30 p.m. when the Bexar County Sheriff's Office Special Emergency Response Team responded to an incident within the jail regarding an officer needing assistance. The officer was transported to University Hospital where reports say he sustained a nasal fracture from the altercation with Granato.
